Marrakech to Merzouga desert tour 3 Days

Our tour starts from Marrakech to Dades Gorges. through Tizi-n-Tichka Atlas pass, with far-reaching views across the mountains, to the traditional High Atlas Berber village of Telouet and take a guided tour of the Kasbah of el Glaoui, former War Lord and Pasha of Marrakech. Continue to Ait Benhaddou to visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ait Benhaddou, a spectacular fortified village (Ksour).you take your lunch at Ait benhaddou or ouarzazate and continue to Dades valley, we well spend the night in a riad/hotel.

Today we will leave Dades Valley heading to visit the astonishing mountains in Toudra Valley and have a little walk in Toudra Gorges. Time for lunch then we head to the gate of the desert Arfoud or what the Locals call the capital of fossils. You will have a chance to see how they polish the fossils and make some beautiful items out of rocks. These fossils are witnesses of an era of 5 hundred million years ago. The next place will be in Merzouga dunes where you can go for a camel ride and enjoy the sunset in the beautiful red dunes of Erg Chebbi Merzouga desert stay overnight at authentic Berber Camp.

Erg Chebbi Merzouga to Marrakesh via High Atlas Mountains. Last day on this tour after your breakfast we travel back to Marrakech through Rissani oasis. We visit the mausoleum of Moulay Ali Cherif the founder of the actual Alaouite dynasty. It was started reigning over the country in the 17th century. We stop in the oasis of Tazarine or Alnif for the lunch break. We also drive in deserted plateaus at the back side of the Anti-Atlas Mountains to Agdez. From Agdez to Marrakech 260 km it is going to be a nice drive in the small Atlas Mountains with its lunar sceneries all the way to Ouarzazate and after the High Atlas Mountains pass to finish the tour in the red city Marrakech. Ending the tour of Marrakech to Marrakech via Merzouga desert 3 days.
